Role Description

The Loan Processor Assistant plays a critical role in ensuring seamless mortgage processing by driving accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in mortgage operations, loan setup, or related roles
• Familiarity with U.S. mortgage documentation and origination workflows
• Experience with loan origination systems such as Encompass, BytePro, or Calyx
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills
• High attention to detail with strong accuracy standards
• Ability to manage 10-20+ files simultaneously

Requirements

• Experience with FHA Connection or government loan files (Nice to Have)
• Familiarity with The Work Number or Equifax Workforce Solutions for VOE (Nice to Have)
• Experience supporting a U.S.-based mortgage team in an offshore setup (Nice to Have)

Responsibilities

• Request and collect mortgage documents from borrowers via phone and email
• Verify and validate all received documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Enter verified data accurately into the loan origination system
• Order title work from title companies
• Order homeowners or hazard insurance
• Conduct employment verifications for all borrowers
• Order IRS tax transcripts using 4506-C
• Order Social Security verifications using SSA-89
• Order FHA case numbers through FHA Connection for government loans
• Follow up on outstanding documentation requests
• Provide end-of-day status updates to the domestic loan team
