Description

• Engage in one-on-one speech therapy sessions that center on fluency, language, voice, and swallowing techniques.
• Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, families, and caregivers, ensuring comprehensive care.
• Provide essential education to patients and their families, equipping them to foster progress at home.
• Conduct periodic inpatient evaluations and interventions, guaranteeing a smooth continuum of care throughout each patient's journey.
• Document therapy sessions comprehensively and responsively, adhering to all relevant guidelines.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days post-hire.
