Key Account Manager - Packaging & Labeling Adhesive Technologies – Sales About this Position At Henkel, you’ll be part of an organization that’s shaping the future through innovation, sustainability and collaboration. What you’ll do Deliver annual sales and profit objectives set by the APC SBU Develop a strategic plan consistent with APC SBU business objectives Communicate strategic plans to regional teams as needed, and be accountable for implementation and execution of those plans Communicate the value generated at the local level to the corporate level Conduct regular business reviews to ensure our plan is aligned with customer business objectives and strategies Manage the RFP and RFQ process Apply expertise in the selling and value quantification process Provide dotted line responsibility for coaching and development of field sales & TCS personnel Introduce new technology and value proposition at the strategic level Share responsibility with Technical Service management for allocating resources to meet business objectives Coordinate key account visits at Henkel sites Provide appropriate strategic entertainment Manage T&E (Travel and Entertainment) Make Corporate Account Manager visibility and business reviews for important sites Drive involvement of Henkel and Key Account Management at the executive level Participate in market association meetings to maintain industry reputation Take ownership of skills, knowledge and performance development What makes you a good fit BA/BS Degree or equivalent discipline required Ability to collaborate, present and streamline with high level management 7+ years of experience in industrial/technical sales or Key Account Management Industrial adhesive experience a plus Ability to set and meet specific and measurable goals and objectives Knowledge of applicable products and applications including product chemistries, applications, manufacturing, and equipment a plus Strong key account management skills Excellent planning, organization, negotiation, project management, customer focus, results, and relationship building skills Ability to work well in a team environment and facilitate meetings with key customers Ability to drive projects rather than allowing an organic path of success Excellent communication skills and PC proficiency Must be willing to travel up to 50% including internationally to Canada Some benefits of joining Henkel Health Insurance: affordable plans for medical, dental, vision and wellbeing starting on day 1 Work–Life Balance: paid time off including sick, vacation, holiday and volunteer time, flexible & hybrid work policies (depending on role), and vacation buy/sell program Financial: 401(k) matching, employee share plan with voluntary investment and Henkel matching shares, annual performance bonus, service awards and student loan reimbursement Family Support: 12‑week gender‑neutral parental leave (up to 20 weeks for parents giving birth), fertility support, adoption & surrogacy reimbursement, discounted child and elderly care, and scholarships Career Growth: diverse national and international growth opportunities, access to thousands of skills development courses, and tuition reimbursement The salary range for this role is $90,000.00 to $130,000.00. This range represents the good‑faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting. We are and will be open to increasing the maximum amount for the right combination of experience and expertise. In addition to base salary, this position will be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
