The posted compensation range of $25.00 - $27.84/hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

As our Clinical Aide, you will transport patients to various hospital locations under the direction of the department manager and according to established policies and procedures.

Every day you will deliver patient charts and tests, pick up and store supplies, and maintain noncomplex transportation-related records, including patient/material transported, arrival/departure times, and any encountered issues.

To be successful in this role, you will ensure safe and efficient patient transportation and timely delivery of materials, contributing to the smooth operation of hospital services.

• Demonstrates ability to transport patients process so that performance objectives are met. For example, transport cycle time objectives need to be established and achieved.
• Demonstrates ability to receive and understand transportation assignments and to fulfill the assignment in a safe and timely manner.
• Under guidance of supervisor, maintains documentation of equipment including gurneys and wheelchairs.
• Ability to interface with key department customers with regard to their level of satisfaction with transportation services.
• Identifies defective equipment and promptly contacts the appropriate personnel for repair.
• Demonstrates a general understanding of universal precautions and isolation techniques.

Required:

• High School GED or High School Graduate
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire

Preferred:

• Hospital experience working with patient transportation
