Accounting Manager

Supervise the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Special Billings functions Hire, train, and develop accounting staff; conduct performance reviews for direct reports Monitor and manage AR and AP KPIs Lead initiatives to improve AP/AR workflows and internal controls Prepare work papers for the year-end audit Manage local compliance requirements Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders Perform other duties and special projects as assigned Position Summary The Accounting Manager oversees the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Special Billings, and Compliance functions, leading a team of 10+ direct reports. This role is a key part of the finance team and reports directly to the Controller. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Supervise the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Special Billings functions Hire, train, and develop accounting staff; conduct performance reviews for direct reports Monitor and manage AR and AP KPIs Lead initiatives to improve AP/AR workflows and internal controls Prepare work papers for the year-end audit Manage local compliance requirements Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders Perform other duties and special projects as assigned Education And Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or in Business with equivalent accounting experience 7+ years of experience; public accounting experience and CPA license preferred Strong knowledge of GAAP, with a preference for leasing/rental accounting experience Proven experience improving and evolving back-office processes and procedures Strong data analysis skills; comfortable working with large datasets Experience with Microsoft Business Central preferred Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel Construction industry experience a plus Required Skills/Competencies Demonstrated Conduct that is in Alignment with Our Core Values Financial Reporting and Forecasting Experience is a Plus Self-Driven Customer/Client Focus.
