Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed initial assessments and evaluations to accurately gauge clients' mental health status and identify their specific needs and objectives.

• Develop individualized treatment plans, employing evidence-based methodologies tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

• Provide effective individual therapy sessions for adult clients, utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, and mindfulness-based strategies.

• Utilize our teletherapy platform to engage clients in virtual therapy sessions, maintaining high standards of confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention services for clients in urgent need, employing a compassionate and collaborative approach.

• Participate in regular training and professional development activities, staying current with best practices in mental health treatment and emerging research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Wellness Path, you will primarily work with adult clients facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.

• Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach toward client care.
\n
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to effectively handle caseload and administrative responsibilities.

• No history of disciplinary actions on licensing board records.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, prior experience in outpatient therapy settings, especially using teletherapy platforms, will be considered a strong asset. Familiarity with evidence-based therapies and a commitment to continuing education will enhance your integration into our team.
