Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver comprehensive psychotherapy or counseling services to a variety of clients, including individuals, families, and groups, addressing the complexities of their mental health concerns.

• Conduct thorough client interviews to gather and interpret valuable social, personal, environmental, and health-related information, which is critical for effective treatment planning.

• Assess and address mental health issues within your scope of practice, tailoring interventions to the unique needs and circumstances of each client.

• Develop and coordinate programs and activities focused on meeting clients' emotional and social needs, ensuring that interventions are holistic and multifaceted.

• Facilitate cognitive, affective, and behavioral health interventions, integrating crisis resolution methods and referrals to community resources as needed.

• Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships grounded in respect, acceptance, and trust, fostering an environment conducive to healing and personal growth.

• Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment plans and services provided, adapting strategies as necessary based on client feedback and assessments.

• Provide individual clinical counseling sessions, focusing on a range of concerns including, but not limited to, depression, mood disorders, addiction, and interpersonal challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role involves working with clients facing various mental health challenges, particularly individuals dealing with behavioral issues such as depression, grief, loss, substance abuse, and relationship concerns. The collaborative approach with other healthcare providers within the hospice setting allows for a comprehensive care model that addresses not only psychological needs but also emotional and social aspects of the clients' lives.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field of study.

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) designation within the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in clinical social work or counseling preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in treating a diverse range of behavioral mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, mood disorders, substance dependency, and family dynamics.

Compensation and Benefits\n
