Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ emotional and psychological health, focusing on distinguishing the intensity and duration of their mood disorders.

• Create individualized treatment plans that align with each client’s specific needs and therapeutic goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate meaningful progress in therapy.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, self-care practices, and available treatment options, ensuring they are empowered in their recovery journey.

• Monitor client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to promote effective outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care tailored to client needs.

• Stay current on mood disorder research, incorporating new findings into practice to improve therapeutic interventions.

• Maintain meticulous records that adhere to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary clients will include individuals navigating mood disorders, marital discord, as well as divorce and relationship concerns. You will work with families seeking to improve their communication and resolve conflicts, providing therapeutic support that fosters healing and reconciliation.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field.
