Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history and specific needs.

• Creating and implementing personalized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, incorporating therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Leading individual and group therapy sessions, facilitating discussions that help patients process their trauma, and equipping them with coping strategies for emotional regulation.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care aligns with patients’ best interests.

• Providing crisis intervention for patients in need during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available mental health resources.

• Maintaining accurate, confidential, and timely documentation in line with legal and ethical mandates.

• Engaging in team meetings, sharing insights during case consultations, and remaining current with advancements in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals coping with various trauma-related disorders, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your ability to create a trusting and respectful environment will be essential for fostering open communication with patients and encouraging them to explore their healing processes.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Solid knowledge of trauma-related disorders and experience employing trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Excellent communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
