Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' physical abilities and limitations to develop individualized treatment plans based on orthopedic protocols.
• Provide hands-on therapy, utilizing modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously in electronic health records, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate clients and families on health management, including home exercise programs, posture correction strategies, and injury prevention techniques.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in orthopedic physical therapy to provide the highest standard of care.
• Effectively communicate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Summit Physical Therapy Inc., you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal pain. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Valid Physical Therapist license to practice in New Jersey.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with a commitment to motivating and encouraging patients.

Preferred Experience
