Work Environment

The position is onsite at our modern outpatient office in Parsippany, New Jersey, where you will work within a supportive environment alongside two other physical therapists and one Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). Our facility is equipped with the latest technologies and resources that enhance your ability to deliver effective and innovative treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' physical capabilities, limitations, and rehabilitation goals.
• Implement personalized physical therapy plans that reflect best practices, utilizing various treatment techniques to optimize recovery.
• Manage case loads of 2-3 patients per hour, ensuring quality care and appropriate time management.
• Reduce reliance on medications by offering alternative solutions through non-invasive treatment options.
• Design and instruct patients in fitness and wellness programs that enhance their strength, flexibility, and overall health.
• Document all patient care services meticulously using EMR software such as WebPT, ensuring accuracy and compliance with health regulations.
• Provide motivation and encouragement throughout the treatment process to help patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness and communicate progress to both patients and healthcare team members.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, free from any disciplinary actions.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and exercise instruction.
• Familiarity with EMR software, specifically WebPT or comparable systems.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, particularly in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated ability to design customized care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills that contribute to building rapport with patients and encouraging their engagement in the therapeutic process.

Compensation and Benefits
