Work Environment

This position is onsite at our Morristown facility, where you will work within a collaborative team of two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant. The office provides a supportive atmosphere emphasizing teamwork, continuous learning, and evidence-based practice. Our work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic while serving our patients comprehensively.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating patients' conditions to determine individual needs and developing customized treatment plans aimed at improving functional abilities.
• Delivering hands-on therapeutic treatments and interventions that are evidence-based and tailored to maximize recovery and rehabilitation.
• Managing a structured caseload efficiently, with the aim of maintaining a patient load of approximately one patient per hour, ensuring quality care without compromising time for assessment or therapy.
• Utilizing various treatment modalities, including manual therapy techniques and exercise prescriptions, to effectively enhance patients' movement potential.
• Documenting patient progress meticulously and adjusting care plans based on regular assessments and feedback.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare providers to achieve optimal treatment outcomes and enhanced patient experiences.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic patients dealing with musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, many of whom have private insurance. You will engage with a diverse patient population, including athletes seeking recovery from sports-related injuries and individuals recovering from surgeries. Our approach prioritizes patient education, promoting self-management techniques to foster independence and long-term wellness.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid physical therapy license to practice in New Jersey, with a clean record free from board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Strong background in orthopedic physical therapy with a patient-centered focus.
• Proven ability to conduct thorough assessments and deliver tailored rehabilitation plans that reflect best practices and current research.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, with demonstrable expertise in manual therapy techniques.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated skills in formulating and conducting comprehensive exercise regimens tailored to patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
