Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist for Outpatient Care

Pardise Mind Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Physical Therapist to join our compassionate team in Morristown, New Jersey. In this full-time role, you will serve as an essential partner in helping our patients achieve their maximum mobility and functional potential. We focus primarily on clients with private medical insurance, ensuring they receive high-quality care tailored to their unique needs. Joining our small team of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), you will be part of a collaborative effort to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite, allowing for direct interaction with patients in a comfortable healthcare setting. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and resources to facilitate effective rehabilitation outcomes. You will work a predictable schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, providing a consistent routine beneficial for you and your patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and understand the individual rehabilitation goals and needs of each patient.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring high levels of engagement and quality of care.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop comprehensive, personalized care plans that include a variety of treatment techniques.
• Implement tailored fitness and wellness programs aimed at enhancing patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques as needed to facilitate movement and alleviate pain.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process, helping them overcome physical challenges and achieve their objectives.
• Monitor patient progress by assessing treatment effectiveness, maintaining open lines of communication, and adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Document all patient interactions comprehensively to build detailed records for each individual's progress and care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to optimize product offerings and patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with an orthopedic outpatient population, encompassing a wide range of conditions needing physical rehabilitation. Patients may include athletes recovering from injuries, individuals post-surgery, or those seeking to regain functional abilities following chronic conditions. Your work will make a meaningful impact on their lives by providing them with the tools and strategies needed to enhance their mobility and overall health.

Qualifications

• Applicants must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and be a licensed Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Applicants should maintain a clean record with no board actions or disciplinary measures against their license.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy and developing effective exercise regimens is essential.
• Proficiency in EMR software, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• Prior exposure to varied physical therapy methodologies and interventions will benefit the candidate's application.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package. This includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
