Saddle Mind Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist to join our esteemed orthopedic outpatient practice located in Morristown, New Jersey. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will engage in promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation, ensuring that each patient receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs.

Work Environment

Your role will take place on-site in our modern rehabilitation facility situated in Morristown, NJ. The work environment is designed to facilitate dynamic patient interactions, featuring advanced therapeutic equipment, spacious treatment rooms, and areas dedicated to patient education and wellness programs. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a balance between your professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Physical Therapist at our facility, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assessing and understanding the individual needs of patients in a healthcare setting to establish comprehensive care plans.
• Managing a patient load efficiently, typically one patient per hour, to ensure focused and effective treatment.
• Administering evidence-based physical therapy interventions that enhance motion and mobility while minimizing the reliance on medications and surgeries.
• Developing tailored fitness and wellness programs designed to meet the specific needs of individual patients, fostering their overall health and performance.
• Providing ongoing motivation, education, and support to patients throughout their treatment journeys, ensuring that they remain engaged and informed.
• Collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to create a holistic care plan that optimizes the patient's recovery and rehabilitation experience.
• Meticulously documenting the services and care provided, monitoring progress, and adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with outpatient orthopedic patients who are recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Our center aims to empower patients to regain their mobility and function, focusing on restoring strength, flexibility, and overall physical endurance.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess the following education and credentials:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current certification as a Licensed Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A clean record with no disciplinary actions against the license.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the ideal candidate will have:

• Demonstrated experience in outpatient orthopedic therapy settings, showcasing a history of successful patient outcomes.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to streamline documentation and patient management.
• Strong skills in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design and implement engaging exercise regimens tailored to diverse patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range between USD 100,000 and USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
