Work Environment

Our organization is committed to facilitating a collaborative and inclusive workplace. You will be part of a small but dedicated team, consisting of two other physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), working closely to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services. The regular working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a balanced work-life structure that allows ample time for personal commitments.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Great Marshall, you will be responsible for:

• Assessing patients to identify their specific healthcare needs and treatment objectives.
• Developing and implementing individualized care plans utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Administering treatment protocols aimed at improving mobility, strength, and functional performance.
• Providing evidence-based, cost-effective interventions designed to minimize reliance on medications and potential surgeries.
• Motivating and educating patients throughout their rehabilitation journeys to enhance their engagement and commitment to treatment.
• Tracking patient progress through careful assessment and documentation, ensuring continuous communication about treatment outcomes.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
• Delivering fitness and wellness programs tailored to the unique needs and preferences of each patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves orthopedic patients requiring outpatient rehabilitation. You will work closely with individuals recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. The focus is on guiding patients towards their functional goals in a compassionate and understanding manner, ensuring a holistic approach to their physical health.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your licensure.
• Solid foundation in manual therapy techniques.
• Ability to develop personalized exercise programs based on patient assessments.
• Familiarity with EMR systems like WebPT is a plus.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings will find their skills highly valued. Experience working with EMR platforms and engaging in team-based rehabilitation approaches will also enhance your fit for our team.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
