We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Physical Therapist to join our team at Flex Well Therapeutics in Morristown, New Jersey. Work Environment

You will be part of a supportive team environment consisting of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to patient care. Our rehabilitation center is designed with patient comfort in mind, providing a welcoming atmosphere that fosters healing and engagement. You will work closely with other physical therapists, physicians, and healthcare staff, underlining our collaborative approach to treatment. Your work schedule will run from Monday to Friday, from 2 PM to 8 PM, optimizing patient interactions during peak hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized, patient-centered physical therapy services by assessing, planning, and implementing specific interventions for an assigned group of patients.
• Complete thorough patient assessments to evaluate functional abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs, contributing to the care planning process led by our multidisciplinary team.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that may include therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and neuromuscular re-education, aimed at achieving established treatment goals.
• Monitor and document patient progress in accordance with best practices and regulatory requirements, ensuring accurate reporting to physicians and care teams.
• Educate patients and families on exercise regimens, use of therapeutic equipment, and modifications necessary to facilitate ongoing rehabilitation at home.
• Manage caseload effectively, prioritizing patient needs and coordinating post-therapy transitions with healthcare team members.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will provide services to a diverse patient population, including both adults and children recovering from injuries, surgeries, and various physical impairments. Your therapeutic interventions will be tailored to each patient's unique circumstances, involving close collaboration with caregivers and family members to foster a supportive recovery environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Current New Jersey Physical Therapy License.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required.
• A Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• New graduates are welcome to apply, as no prior experience is necessary.

Preferred Experience

While no prior experience is required, candidates with internships or clinical rotations in orthopedic or rehabilitation settings will be highly regarded. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a foundational knowledge of therapeutic modalities will also be advantageous.
