Key Responsibilities

The Licensed Physical Therapist will perform a variety of important tasks, including:

• Conducting initial consultations with patients to understand their medical history, physical limitations, and rehabilitation goals.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and developing personalized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to enhance recovery.
• Educating patients on appropriate therapeutic exercises, ensuring they understand how to perform them correctly and safely.
• Using various hands-on techniques, such as massage and soft tissue mobilization, to alleviate pain and promote healing.
• Assisting patients with equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, or other assistive devices to facilitate mobility.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, tracking progress towards rehabilitation goals, and making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
• Providing families with guidance on in-home exercise programs and treatment options to reinforce the support system for the patient's recovery.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.

Compensation and Benefits
