Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist for Orthopedic Home Care

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at Optimal Recovery Psychotherapy LTD. in Morristown, New Jersey. About the Organization

At Optimal Recovery Psychotherapy LTD., we pride ourselves on providing exceptional care in a state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot sports medicine facility. Our practice is primarily focused on serving individuals covered by private medical insurance, ensuring that each patient receives the personalized attention they need. We are a physical therapist-owned practice, comprised of two experienced PTs and a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) who are committed to fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for both team members and patients.

Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite within a home care setting, allowing you to interact closely with patients in their own environments. Our work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced work-life dynamic. As a member of our team, you will have access to advanced treatment tools and resources, fostering an environment where you can optimize patient care effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, aligning with each patient's goals and aspirations.
• Manage a focused caseload, typically engaging with one patient per hour to deliver personalized physical therapy sessions.
• Employ cost-effective treatment methods to enhance patients' range of motion, mobility, and overall function.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based treatment interventions, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise protocols.
• Help patients reduce medication dependency and explore non-surgical alternatives when possible.
• Create and maintain comprehensive care plans that incorporate a variety of treatment techniques tailored to individual needs.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to maximize their progress and functional capabilities.
• Document patient assessments, treatment services, and outcomes meticulously to ensure continuity of care and enhance patient communication.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to provide holistic and comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role primarily focuses on patients with orthopedic concerns, where you will be at the forefront of facilitating recovery through expert care and education. We meet the unique needs of diverse individuals, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions, with an unwavering commitment to their well-being.

Qualifications

• Earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a valid physical therapy license in New Jersey.
• Demonstrated history of ethical practice with no disciplinary actions against your professional license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong ability to design and implement effective exercise protocols.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to streamline patient documentation and follow-ups.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome applicants with various backgrounds, preference will be given to those with prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, as this knowledge is invaluable in providing high-quality care to our patient community.

Compensation and Benefits
