Work Environment

The physical therapist will work onsite in our outpatient office, which is designed to foster an inviting and therapeutic atmosphere. You'll be joining a collaborative team consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Our outpatient setting allows for focused interaction with clients, enabling a personalized approach to rehabilitation and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients to develop individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving optimal recovery outcomes.
• Efficiently manage a patient load of one client per hour, ensuring quality attention and personalized care during each session.
• Implement evidence-based treatment techniques and therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy and exercise regimens tailored to each patient's specific needs.
• Monitor patient progress, reassess treatment effectiveness, and make necessary adjustments to optimize care strategies.
• Thoroughly document patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Provide cost-effective alternatives to medications and surgical interventions through targeted exercise and rehabilitation interventions.
• Promote healthy lifestyle habits by enhancing clients' strength, flexibility, and overall fitness levels.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery across disciplines.
• Motivate and educate patients throughout their treatment process to inspire confidence and enhance functional independence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily interact with clients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and sports-related conditions. Our patient demographic ranges from active athletes to older adults seeking to restore mobility and manage pain effectively. Your ability to tailor treatments to diverse needs will directly impact patient satisfaction and recovery success.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) qualification is required.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey, with a clean disciplinary history.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and methods for developing individualized exercise programs.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient environment is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement tailored fitness and wellness programs.
• A proven track record of delivering effective, evidence-based physical therapy interventions.

Compensation and Benefits
