You will manage a caseload of clients while utilizing telehealth services, supplemented by in-person appointments as needed.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, age-appropriate assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that address the psychological and emotional needs of individuals and families.

• Facilitate therapy sessions with couples and families, using systemic, narrative, and cognitive-behavioral approaches to improve relational dynamics.

• Lead parent support groups, providing a nurturing space where caregivers can share experiences and receive guidance, particularly in contexts involving parenting challenges and issues related to placement and adoption of prenatally substance-exposed children.

• Perform developmental evaluations of children, offering insights on their emotional and behavioral health to tailored interventions.
\n
• Provide training sessions for varied stakeholders, including social workers, educators, and legal professionals, on topics related to family therapy, child development, and therapeutic strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will focus on a diverse population, serving both adult and child/adolescent clients who may be facing a range of challenges, from relationship issues and parental stress to behavioral concerns in children. Your expertise will play a vital role in improving outcomes for families navigating complex life situations.

Qualifications\n

• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
\n
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic techniques and best practices.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in conducting family and couples therapy within a clinical or community health setting.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic medical record systems.

Compensation and Benefits\n
