Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring clear goals and measurable outcomes.

• Facilitate therapy sessions with both couples and individual family members, addressing distinct relational dynamics while maintaining a compassionate and supportive environment.

• Utilize evidence-based approaches to manage a range of issues, including but not limited to: conflicts among family members, grief and loss, job stress, and communication difficulties.

• Document patient progress and manage case notes using our secure electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards set forth by the profession and the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Anchorage Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse clientele including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a variety of challenges. You will actively engage with individuals coping with relational issues stemming from emotional distress, alcohol abuse, adjustment to life changes such as divorce, and communication barriers. Your expertise will help facilitate healing in both blended families and those enduring separation or divorce, enhancing relationships and fostering understanding.

Qualifications\n

• A valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
\n
• Exceptional communication and empathetic interpersonal skills to build strong, trusting relationships with clients.

• Ability to create a nonjudgmental environment conducive to open discussions about sensitive issues.

• Organizational skills to effectively manage your case load and complete administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with diverse populations, ideally in multiple clinical settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Alongside the attractive salary, our benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, a 401(k) plan with a company match, and generous paid parental leave.
