Midlevel Insurance Recovery and Counseling Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a highly motivated associate to join its Insurance Recovery and Counseling practice group in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation and experience counseling and representing policyholders in complex insurance coverage litigation, including arbitrations. Duties Analyze and interpret complex insurance policies, endorsements, exclusions, and coverage frameworks. Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Manage multiple deadlines effectively with strong organizational skills. Engage in client contact and assume increasing levels of responsibility. Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials. Admission to the state bar and in good standing or ability to become admitted promptly. Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in relevant legal practice. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the state bar. Skills Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. High degree of initiative and attention to detail.
