Job Description

Pay range for this position is $43.90 - 63.65 / hour BOE. On a flexible, as-needed basis, provides clinical services to all residents residing at Communities of Christian Living Communities (CLC). These services will include skilled nursing, assisted living, and/or rehabilitation services. Rehabilitation Flex Team Members are exempt from a multiple-shift requirement, and are encouraged to cover needs at multiple sites as they are able. Diagnoses and treats individuals with speech, language, voice, and fluency needs. This role is grounded in building genuine, trust-based relationships with residents and their families - we believe every person, team member and resident alike, brings unique strengths and perspectives that make our community stronger.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications & Experience: Education: Graduate of an accredited therapy program. Experience: 23 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Licenses/Certifications: Current Speech Language Pathologist state license; CPR certification. Excellent verbal & written communication, active listening, and social perceptiveness. Relationship building, compassionate instruction, and genuine appreciation for individuality and diverse life experiences. Critical thinking, sound judgment, and decision-making. Time management and service orientation. Collaborative teamwork. Working Conditions / Physical Requirements: Physical stamina to lift, transfer, and assist residents through physical activities. Requires frequent lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 50 lbs. unassisted, including assisting residents when needed. Must be able to communicate clearly with residents in person and over the phone. Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including visual examination of residents and reading information from printed sources and computer screens.
