Key Responsibilities

• Assess and determine individual patient goals, implementing personalized treatment plans to address their specific needs.
• Manage a manageable caseload, averaging one patient per hour, to ensure detailed and focused therapeutic interventions.
• Utilize various treatment modalities, including manual therapy techniques, to improve patients' mobility and reduce pain.
• Educate patients about alternatives to medication and surgery, focusing on non-pharmacological interventions to enhance their recovery.
• Design and execute customized fitness and wellness plans aimed at fostering patient independence and long-term health.
• Develop comprehensive care strategies that incorporate evidence-based practices and innovative therapeutic methods.
• Monitor patient progress throughout the treatment process, performing regular evaluations and making necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Document all patient interactions and care services meticulously, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and hold an active physical therapist license in Virginia.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centered care with a clean professional record, free from disciplinary actions.
• Exhibit proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of individualized exercise protocols.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings, showcasing your ability to manage diverse therapeutic cases effectively.
• A background in sports medicine therapy can be beneficial but is not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
