Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments for clients, formulating personalized and culturally sensitive treatment plans that align with their individual needs and life circumstances.

• Facilitate individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapy modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and other solution-focused interventions.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and communications in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, and psychiatrists to ensure an integrated approach to client care and shared treatment objectives.

• Engage in ongoing clinical supervision and professional development, attending workshops, training sessions, and team meetings to stay current with research and best practices.

• Uphold the ethical standards of practice, ensuring client confidentiality and legal compliance in all therapeutic endeavors.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will work primarily with a diverse client population, including individuals, couples, and families facing a range of challenges such as relationship issues, mental health disorders, and life's adjusting stressors. Qualifications\n

• A valid and active LMFT license issued by the state of California.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.

Preferred Experience\n

While one year of experience is the minimum requirement, candidates with additional training in trauma-informed care or certifications in specialized areas such as addiction therapy, child and adolescent therapy, or couples therapy will be viewed favorably. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR) systems is also advantageous.
