Job Title Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver – Research Triangle Park, NC Key Details Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.57 / Hour Job Schedule: Saturday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Sunday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site‑specific procedures, property access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions at the location. Monitor entry points, tenant spaces, and/or exterior areas as assigned, reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and other security‑related issues according to post instructions. Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by following Allied Universal standards, observing site activity, and completing assigned reports and logs related to security‑related matters. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
