You will conduct routine patrols, respond to security-related concerns, and support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a people‑first approach that reflects our agile, reliable, and innovative culture. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Saturday: 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM Sunday: 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as appropriate. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and help support controlled movement of staff, contractors, visitors, and/or vehicles in accordance with site policies. Support security‑related operations by preparing reports, maintaining post records, and reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: Possess an armed guard card or license. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
