Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of residents to assess their physical capabilities, limitations, and rehabilitation goals.
• Monitor and document each patient's progress, utilizing evidence-based practices to adapt treatment plans as necessary for optimal recovery.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive care strategies, enhancing patient outcomes through shared expertise.
• Educate residents and their families on effective home exercise programs and wellness practices that maintain physical health and prevent further injury.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and advanced technologies as appropriate for individual cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is preferred.
