Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
• 1-3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, customer service, or administrative experience
• Credit and collections experience preferred
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems such as Epicor, SAP, or similar platforms preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties:

• Process customer invoices and accurately apply incoming payments
• Maintain customer account records and payment histories
• Monitor accounts for past-due balances and assist with collections activities
• Contact customers regarding outstanding invoices and payment status
• Respond to customer inquiries related to billing, payments, and account balances
• Reconcile customer accounts and research payment discrepancies
• Process customer payments received via ACH, check, and other payment methods
• Prepare and distribute customer statements
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable
• Maintain organized customer files and financial records
• Support audits, reporting requests, and other accounting functions as needed
• Perform additional administrative and accounting duties as assigned
