Human Resources Coordinator

At REGENCY IHS CLINICAL CONSULTING LLC, the Human Resources Coordinator role supports essential people operations for a facility environment and our home health ancillary service. This onsite position in Groves, TX offers the opportunity to handle day-to-day HR administration while building breadth through cross-training on additional responsibilities within the scope of the business office, as assigned by regional and corporate HR leadership. Responsibilities Manage the timekeeping system and assist with labor management . Support hiring and onboarding , including recruiting, conducting initial interviews, coordinating new hire background checks, scheduling drug screenings, and organizing orientation. Assist with employee investigations and provide recommendations related to hiring decisions and employee counseling or discipline. Use multiple HR-related software tools for recruiting, timekeeping, and daily reporting . Maintain employee personnel files with strict confidentiality in accordance with Federal and State regulations and corporate policies . Ensure staff complete Relies training and facility in-services in line with Federal and State regulations and corporate policy, including communicating policies and confirming adherence. Provide weekly reports and maintain an effective working relationship with corporate HR staff . Participate in cross-training for additional tasks within the scope of responsibilities, as assigned by the Regional Administrator , Regional HR Manager , and the VP of Human Resources . Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or another related field (preferred). Minimum 2 years of experience ; at least two years of experience with payroll, timekeeping, and recruiting in a skilled nursing setting or long-term care industry is highly preferred. Payroll processing experience is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint . Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
