Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Business System Analyst LMS / VAM Specialist to support the delivery, implementation, and optimization of Liquidity Management Systems (LMS) and Virtual Account Management (VAM) solutions within a corporate and transaction banking environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Transaction Banking, Cash Management, Liquidity Management, Virtual Account Management, corporate treasury, payments, account structures, and banking technology . The candidate will act as a bridge between corporate treasury/business requirements and transaction banking technology, working with business stakeholders, product teams, technology teams, and implementation teams to deliver scalable liquidity and virtual account solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements

• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements related to Liquidity Management and Virtual Account Management .

• Work closely with corporate treasury, transaction banking, cash management, product, technology, and implementation teams.

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and solution requirements.

• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and improved cash visibility.

• Facilitate workshops with business and technology stakeholders to understand client requirements and define appropriate solutions.

LMS & Liquidity Management

• Support the design and implementation of Liquidity Management System (LMS) solutions for corporate banking clients.

• Analyze and support complex cash concentration, liquidity sweeping, and pooling requirements.

• Work with multi-entity, multi-currency, and cross-border liquidity structures.

• Support physical cash concentration and notional pooling requirements.

• Understand corporate treasury structures, account hierarchies, cash positioning, and liquidity optimization.

• Translate treasury and liquidity requirements into functional system configurations and technology solutions.

Virtual Account Management (VAM)

• Support the design, implementation, and configuration of Virtual Account Management (VAM) solutions.

• Define virtual account structures, hierarchies, relationships, and mapping to master physical accounts.

• Support corporate clients in replacing or consolidating multiple physical demand deposit accounts (DDAs) through virtual account structures.

• Understand virtual sub-ledger concepts and their integration with underlying physical accounts.

• Support virtual account structures for collections, payments, reconciliation, and account management.

Payments & Reconciliation

• Support automated payment and reconciliation processes associated with VAM and LMS platforms.

• Understand remitter identification, payment routing, account mapping, and automated reconciliation .

• Support Payments on Behalf Of (POBO) and Collections on Behalf Of (COBO) business models.

• Understand corporate Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes and their relationship with transaction banking solutions.

• Analyze payment and reconciliation requirements and translate them into functional system requirements.

System Integration & Messaging

• Work with technology teams to define and validate integrations between LMS/VAM platforms and enterprise banking systems.

• Support integration requirements involving APIs, payment systems, core banking platforms, ERP systems, and treasury platforms .

• Experience with SWIFT messaging and payment-related message formats.

• Understanding of ISO 20022 messaging standards, including formats such as CAMT.053 .

• Knowledge of legacy banking/payment messaging such as MT940 is an asset.

• Analyze interface specifications, data mappings, message flows, and integration dependencies.

Functional & Technical Skills

• Strong experience in Liquidity Management / Cash Management within banking.

• Strong understanding of Virtual Account Management (VAM) .

• Experience with Liquidity Management Systems (LMS) .

• Strong knowledge of Corporate / Transaction Banking .

• Understanding of Cash Concentration, Liquidity Sweeping, and Pooling .

• Experience with Virtual Accounts and Virtual Sub-Ledgers .

• Understanding of POBO and COBO models.

• Knowledge of corporate treasury and cash management processes.

• Understanding of payment processing and automated reconciliation.

• Experience with SWIFT / ISO 20022 messaging.

• Knowledge of CAMT.053, MT940 , and related banking message formats.

• Experience with API-based system integrations .

• Strong business requirements gathering and functional documentation skills.

Qualifications

• 8 10 years of overall IT / Business Analysis experience , preferably within banking or financial services.

• Strong hands-on experience in Transaction Banking, Cash Management, Liquidity Management, or Corporate Banking .

• Demonstrated experience with LMS and/or VAM platforms or comparable banking liquidity/virtual account solutions .

• Strong understanding of corporate treasury, payments, account structures, reconciliation, and liquidity processes.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively with business users, product managers, architects, developers, testers, and implementation teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with large corporate banking clients.

• Experience implementing or enhancing transaction banking platforms.

• Experience with Liquidity Management / Cash Management products .

• Experience with Virtual Account Management implementations .

• Experience with SWIFT, ISO 20022, CAMT.053, MT940 , or related payment messaging.

• Experience with APIs and enterprise banking integrations.

• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
