Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Special Education Teaching Certification (LBS1 required)
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver differentiated instruction to address individual student needs
- Develop, update, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal requirements
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Maintain clear documentation of student progress and behavior
- Foster positive social and academic growth for all students
- Adapt instructional methods and materials to meet the varying needs of students
- Participate actively in staff and IEP meetings as required
Schedule & Contract Details:
- Contract hours: 8:05 AM – 3:25 PM, Monday through Friday
- Enjoy a daily 30-minute duty-free lunch plus one planning period
- Full school year commitment: August 17, 2026, through May 27, 2027 (with possible extension for emergency days until June 7)
