Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

What We’re Seeking:

• Active Illinois licensure and Special Education Teacher certification required
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is essential
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both staff and families
• Ability to adapt instruction to diverse learning needs
• A commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom atmosphere

Role Highlights & Responsibilities:

• Full-time schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week, with workdays running from 8:40AM – 3:25PM
• Instruction and case management for 5 elementary students in a specialized classroom setting
• Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with support staff, parents, and related service providers to design strategies for student success
• Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Participation in team meetings and professional development throughout the year
