Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Bethesda, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic retail and mall location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to guests, tenants, and staff. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols of mall common areas, retail corridors, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards. Assist with access control, visitor inquiries, wayfinding, and policy compliance while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location. Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives. Minimum Requirements: At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A Guard Card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Must be 21 years of age or older Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
