TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Neuro RN in Morgantown, West Virginia, 26506!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neuro MedSurg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS and NIHSS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: - Strong neuro experience - Proficiency and frequency with G-tubes - Recent Epic experience - NIHSS certification in hand Description: This unit consists of 20 beds. Patient ratios are 1:5-6 for floor patients. Common diagnoses include neurosciences, deep brain stimulators, stroke, seizures, surgical/post-op spines, and neurological disorders. RT is available 24/7 for equipment management. Registered Nurses do not need to have vent experience. Telemetry is available on this unit. Registered Nurses are not required to read strips; documentation is done via monitor tech's reading verification. Weekend shift requirements include working Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, or specified combinations. Travelers are expected to work into the holiday rotation. Possible floating to other units may be required. Dress code consists of any combination of white and royal blue. Two shifts may be canceled per 13-week contract. Charting is completed using Epic.
