Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate clients' needs and formulate diagnoses based on established criteria.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to meet the unique goals of each client.

• Provide therapeutic services that may include individual, group, and family therapy sessions, effectively utilizing various therapeutic modalities.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention to clients experiencing acute mental health issues, ensuring safety and appropriate follow-up.

• Maintain meticulous records that align with ethical standards, including treatment plans and progress notes, while ensuring confidentiality.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to coordinate comprehensive care and advocate for clients' needs.

• Educate clients and their families regarding mental health topics and available resources, empowering them in their treatment journey.

• Engage in continuous professional development through training, workshops, and conferences to keep abreast of the latest clinical practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health disorders. Your efforts will focus on building a therapeutic alliance, enhancing clients' coping strategies, and promoting overall mental wellness in an empathetic and supportive manner.

Qualifications\n

• Valid licensure as a mental health therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R) in the state of New York is required.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is essential.

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills to effectively understand each client's unique challenges.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling is necessary for this role.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
