Description
Job title: Facilities Mechanical Technician
Schedule: 1st shift, 40 hours per week, (alternating weekends, 40 hours/week)
Pay rate: $35-40 / hour
Facilities Mechanical Technicians perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and routine repair activities across facility infrastructure systems.
Functional Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities (HVAC, boilers, and compressed air systems)
- Inspections on fire suppression, alarms and emergency systems
- Ensuring facility compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards
- Completing GMP documentation and work orders accurately
- Replace motors, pumps, valves, belts, and filters
- Follow LOTO, confined space, and electrical safety procedures
- Conduct inspections of mechanical and electrical systems
- Perform minor repairs within licensed capability
- Identify and report observed deficiencies
- Support vendor access and coordination
- Maintain safe work practices in accordance with site policies
Technicians are responsible for maintenance execution and do not assume responsibility for system redesign, capital replacement, or production outcomes

- Physical stamina and dexterity
- Ability to detect safety hazards and communicate with appropriate staff
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments
- Ability to follow directions from a supervisor
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism
