IT Technician

IT Technician, Onsite [San Diego, CA] Job Summary We areseekinga detail-oriented and organized ITTechnicianto support employee onboarding, equipment deployment, and IT procurement operations. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure employees have the technology and access they need to be successful from day one. The ITTechnicianwillassistwith preparing and deploying computers, managing inventory, coordinating hardware purchases, and providing basic technical support to staff. This position works closely with Human Resources, Operations, and the IT team tomaintainefficient onboarding and equipment management processes. Responsibilities Prepare and configure laptopsand peripherals for new hires Create user accounts Track andmaintaininventory of IT equipment and accessories Assistwith ordering, receiving, and organizing IT hardware and software Work with vendors and suppliers to support procurement activities Maintainaccurateasset records and documentation Provide basic troubleshooting and technical support for employees Assistwith workstation setups, office moves, and equipment replacements Ensure devices are updated, secured, and compliant with company standards Respond to helpdesk tickets related to onboardingandequipmentreplacements Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or technical certification preferred Strong organizational, critical thinkingand time management skills Basic understanding of computer hardwareandWindows operating systems Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple requests Comfortable working with spreadsheets, inventory systems, and documentation Previousexperience in IT support, inventory management, or administrative support is a plus Preferred Skills Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory Experience with ticketing or asset management systems Basic understanding of procurement workflows Work Environment Full-time, onsite position San Diego, CA The hourly rate for this position is $23-$25 per hour.
