We are seeking an elite healthcare engagement strategist with robust digital experience who can seamlessly translate audience insights and behavioral science into websites, interactive tools, patient journeys, partnerships, and multi-channel activation plans. This is structured as a temp-to-hire opportunity for candidates based in the New York or Philadelphia regions.

Overview: The ideal candidate is a powerful strategic thinker who can dive into the work immediately. You will collaborate hand-in-hand with creative, experience design, account, and client teams to untangle complex healthcare challenges and shape them into clear, actionable engagement strategies that drive real-world health behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engagement Strategy & Journey Mapping: Translate audience insights, behavioral barriers, and clinical data into foundational experience principles, robust engagement journeys, and actionable activation opportunities.
• Digital Ecosystem Leadership: Drive deep digital strategy across websites, digital tools, patient/HCP portals, UX frameworks, and comprehensive digital ecosystems.
• Channel & Touchpoint Architecture: Architect comprehensive channel and touchpoint strategies that unify paid, owned, earned, social, and partner experiences into a cohesive ecosystem.
• Beyond-Campaign Innovation: Think past traditional advertising campaigns to design utilities, digital products, and sustainable experiences that actively help people take action and manage their health.
• Partnerships & Ecosystems: Evaluate and integrate the role of advocacy organizations, third-party platforms, and strategic partnerships into the broader engagement plan.
• Creative & Experience Briefing: Develop crystal-clear strategic frameworks, inspiring creative briefs, and polished executive presentations that creative and design teams can immediately build from.
• Client Stewardship & Ownership: Act as an independent, trusted strategic lead in front of senior clients, guiding discussions and owning key strategic workstreams with confidence.

Qualifications & Core Competencies:

• Extensive, specialized experience in healthcare and pharmaceutical engagement strategy, with a strong emphasis on patient and DTC work.
• Deep mastery of digital strategy, web ecosystems, digital tools, and user experience (UX) principles.
• Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare nuances, including patient privacy, scientific credibility, accessibility (WCAG), and the practical realities of driving health behaviors.
• Proven ability to operate independently, ramp up quickly with minimal oversight, and lead multidisciplinary teams through complex strategic challenges.
• Exceptional executive presence, presentation skills, and written communication abilities.
• Must reside in or near the New York or Philadelphia metropolitan areas for this temp-to-hire arrangement.
