Stokke Family Dentistry is looking for an experienced, personable Patient Care Coordinator to join our positive, established private dental practice in Laurel.

Our recently remodeled office combines a comfortable, welcoming environment with modern dental technology, including digital radiographs, intraoral cameras, iTero scanning, CBCT imaging, Pearl AI, and Eaglesoft.

What We're Looking For

Dental office experience is required. The ideal candidate is confident, friendly, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating with patients about both their dental care and financial options.

Experience with the following is strongly preferred:

• Dental scheduling and schedule management
• Presenting treatment plans and financial options
• Collecting patient payments
• Dental insurance verification and benefit coordination
• Insurance payment posting
• Eaglesoft or similar dental practice-management software
• Providing an exceptional patient experience from the first phone call through checkout

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is proactive, dependable, positive, and genuinely enjoys working with people. You should be comfortable taking ownership of your responsibilities while also jumping in to help the team when needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and create an exceptional first and last impression
• Answer phones and communicate professionally with patients
• Schedule appointments and help maintain a productive, organized schedule
• Check patients in and out
• Keep patient information and records accurate and current
• Present treatment plans, financial arrangements, and payment options
• Collect and accurately post patient payments
• Communicate with insurance companies and coordinate insurance information
• Verify insurance benefits when needed
• Follow up with patients regarding treatment and scheduling
• Perform general administrative duties
• Collaborate with the clinical team to provide seamless, 5-star patient care

Schedule

Four days per week.
Office hours are 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch.

Team members arrive approximately 30 minutes before the first scheduled patient to prepare for the day and participate in our morning team huddle.

Compensation & Benefits

$23–$28/hour, depending on dental experience and skill set.
