Manager - HRBP

You’ll provide thought leadership and equip our leaders and associates with tools they’ll need to foster agility, innovation, and inclusion. Every day you’ll contribute in strategic and hands‑on ways to our long‑term people strategy by partnering with the HR team and NACG business leaders to elevate the associate experience, develop future talent, and strengthen our organizational excellence. Working across your designated business group, you’ll manage large‑scale rollouts and projects that have direct impact on the people component of our business strategy. To thrive in this role you need to have experience working on strategic projects and working closely with business leaders in highly matrixed organizations, high‑performing teams, and be confident and courageous to drive outcomes through a consultative, “influence without authority” approach. Key Responsibilities Challenge existing processes, improve HR priorities aligned with business outcomes, provide thought leadership, education, and tools to senior managers and associates, manage organizational change and transition, develop associate engagement, and support coaching and development of talent. Qualifications Minimum of 8 years of experience as a HR Business Partner, preferably in financial services or large organizations. Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree in business, Human Resources, or related field highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to learn business objectives quickly and influence talent and organization decisions that impact business outcomes. Ability to connect the dots in complex and often ambiguous situations, deriving critical insights for organizational goals. Extensive experience providing thought leadership, education, and tools to senior managers and associates, and effectively managing organizational change and transition. Passion for coaching, supporting and developing talent, partnering with business leaders to develop high‑performing teams and drive associate engagement. Data‑savvy, able to conduct HR trend analysis with large data sets across unique company and team cultures, turning information into actionable insights and recommending solutions. Enjoy working in fast‑paced environments where critical thinking and proactive teamwork with colleagues around the globe is essential for success. Skilled communicator, authentic, respectful, engaging. Attention to detail, successfully completing competing priorities with high accuracy. Collaborative, considerate and thoughtful approach to strategic HR projects, remembering that behind every program are people who love their work. Compensation and Benefits Southern California base salary range: $141,648‑$226,637. In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you will also be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, Capital’s annual profitability bonus and a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
