Are you an accounting professional looking to grow your career in commercial real estate? A stable, locally owned Arizona commercial real estate organization is seeking a Property Accountant to join its growing team.
Reporting directly to the CFO, this role offers exceptional visibility, hands-on experience, and long-term career growth within a fast-paced environment.
This is a direct-hire opportunity.
What You'll Do
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reporting packages
- Review and prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts
- Process sales tax filings and mortgage loan payments
- Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting
- Manage tenant accounting, security deposits, rent rolls, and vacancy reports
- Support CAM/operating expense reconciliations and tenant true-ups
- Set up new properties in the accounting system and maintain property records
- Partner closely with property management and operations teams in a high-volume environment

What We're Looking For
- Accounting experience with strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and manage a high volume of transactions
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Commercial real estate or property accounting experience is a plus
- Yardi experience highly preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
