About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Transportation to take on a pivotal role as the strategic leader of its transportation practice. This executive position is dedicated to business development, industry influence, and nurturing client relationships, with a primary focus on expanding the firm's presence in the transportation sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies, building strong connections with various stakeholders, and leading the pursuit of major transportation opportunities. A key aspect of the role is to serve as a senior advisor on market trends, pricing strategy, and pursuit selection, as well as to drive strategic growth initiatives that enhance the firm's market share and reputation. Applicants for the Vice President of Transportation role at the company should hold a PE or TE license, with AICP certification being preferred. A minimum of 12 years' experience in transportation planning, traffic engineering, or a related field is required, along with a proven track record of success in winning and developing transportation-related work. The ideal candidate will have a strong network within California's transportation markets, exceptional communication and presentation skills, and experience in mentoring and developing future leaders. A deep knowledge of transportation planning and traffic engineering principles, including CEQA/NEPA-related analyses, is essential, and familiarity with industry-standard software is a plus.
