Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders in clients.

• Collaborate closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, goals, and preferences while employing evidence-based methodologies.

• Utilize recognized therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective treatment processes.

• Educate and support clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies tailored to each client's situation.

• Continuously monitor and document client progress, adjusting therapeutic interventions as needed to foster optimal outcomes.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, medical professionals, and support staff to provide integrated care for clients.

• Stay well-informed about the latest research and advancements in the field of mood disorder treatment to enhance service delivery.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential client records in accordance with established legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve individuals facing mood disorders, including children, teens, and adults, many of whom may come from challenging backgrounds such as homelessness, refugee status, or experiences of domestic violence. Your role is vital in providing these clients not only therapy but also hope and practical strategies for daily living and improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) .

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• The salary range for this position is USD 70,000 – 90,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
