Business Analyst I

Job Description

This is the entry level position in business analysis. The associate will develop a high degree of understanding of their assigned program. Under close supervision, they will extract data concerning their program and provide analysis of this data to associates. They will work extensively with stores, vendors, and HQ staff.

Additional Qualifications/Requirements

• PCS Not Authorized/Lump Sum Payment of ($15,000) May be Authorized

Work - Onsite (HQ - Dallas, Texas)

• Remote/Telework not authorized per Presidential Memorandum "Return to In Person Work"

Technical (Preferred/Required Skills/Systems):

• RETAIL STORE OPERATIONS EXPERIENCE
• ASAP - Preferred
• BWS (INLCUDING NEWREC,WMF,LGTRACK) - Preferred
• INTERNAL REPORTING SYSTEM - Preferred
• MICROSOFT OFFICE SUITE - Preferred
• MICROSTRATEGY - Preferred
• RETEK - Preferred
• RMDS - Preferred
• SHAREPOINT - Preferred
• SQL - Preferred

Job Qualifications

Three years of experience in analysis, evaluations or other substantive determinations with regard to current and/or projected marketing/purchasing/sales and other operating programs, interpreting written materials and organizing/coordinating work.

Or


Bachelor's degree with one year of experience in analysis, evaluations or other substantive determinations with regard to current and/or projected marketing/purchasing/sales and other operating programs, interpreting written materials and organizing/coordinating work.

Major/Minor (one of):

• BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION - Preferred
• BUSINESS MANAGEMENT - Preferred
• FINANCE - Preferred

Major Duties

Assists in analyzing business conditions and in the development of business policies.
Compiles and prepares reports, graphs and charts of data developed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
