Position Overview

Innovative Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our skilled team in Tyro, Virginia. This pivotal role involves providing exceptional care to patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, emphasizing functional recovery and quality of life improvement. As part of our outpatient practice, you will be instrumental in guiding patients on their journey to regain movement and achieve peak functionality.

Work Environment

At Innovative Movement Rehab & Wellness Center, you will work in a collaborative environment alongside two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA) in a modern, 5,000-square-foot sports medicine facility. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' objectives and needs, developing tailored treatment plans based on clinical guidelines and evidence-based practices.
• Manage a manageable caseload, treating one patient per hour to ensure personalized attention and optimal care.
• Implement diverse therapeutic techniques to enhance patients' range of motion, mobility, and overall functional capabilities. This may include manual therapy, modalities, and therapeutic exercises.
• Collaborate closely with patients to motivate them throughout their treatment journeys, helping to set and achieve realistic recovery goals.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes, monitoring progress and adjusting plans as necessary to maximize patient outcomes.
• Document all patient care services meticulously and maintain clear communication with patients and healthcare team members.
• Educate patients on lifestyle modifications and preventive strategies to promote long-term health and wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse population of patients, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries or injuries. You will apply your therapeutic expertise to help these patients mitigate pain, regain mobility, and restore function through individualized treatment methodologies. Your contributions will significantly impact their journey toward rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Virginia.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation strategies specific to orthopedic conditions.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective exercise protocols for diverse patient needs.
• Familiarity with WebPT EMR software or similar electronic medical record systems is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred, showcasing a strong understanding of best practices in physical therapy.
• Experience working with a range of patient demographics, including athletes, post-operative recovery, and general orthopedic care.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an attractive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
