Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, allowing for direct interaction with patients and collaboration with team members. Key Responsibilities

• Assess each patient's needs and capabilities to develop customized treatment plans that target their specific goals.
• Maintain a manageable caseload to provide focused attention to each patient, ensuring optimal care and support.
• Employ orthopedic outpatient techniques and manual therapies to facilitate recovery and improve functional movement.
• Promote non-surgical treatments and alternatives to reduce the reliance on medications in patient recovery plans.
• Create and implement comprehensive fitness and wellness programs tailored to each patient's lifestyle and rehabilitation needs.
• Utilize proven evidence-based practices to deliver targeted interventions that enhance patient well-being.
• Motivate patients throughout their therapy sessions by providing encouragement and monitoring their progress.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to integrate care and optimize outcomes for patients.
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of all treatment sessions and patient progress using EMR software, specifically Web PT.
• Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions and adjust treatment plans as necessary for evolving patient needs.

As a Physical Therapist at Med Fit, you will work with a diverse population of patients dealing with various conditions, including orthopedic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain issues. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program is mandatory.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia is required, with a pristine record free from sanctions.
• Demonstrated competency in various manual therapy modalities and exercise program development.
• Proficient in using EMR software to document patient interactions and treatment interventions accurately.
• Strong familiarity with the latest physical therapy research and practices, ensuring the use of up-to-date techniques and methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, particularly focused on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience with specialized patient populations, such as athletes or geriatric patients, is highly desirable.
• A strong background in utilizing technology and telehealth tools to enhance patient care would be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and performance.
