Position: Oracle Fusion SCM Functional Consultant

Location: Menlo Park, CA Onsite 3 days/week



Employment: Contract / Contract-to-Hire (C2H)



C2H Requirement: Candidates must be willing to convert to C2H after 6 months and provide confirmation via email.



Salary: $140K Base + 10% QPLC

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion SCM Functional Consultant / Lead Functional Analyst to support a highly integrated Enterprise Products (EP) supply chain landscape.

The environment includes Oracle Fusion SCM, custom-built internal applications, and third-party systems . The consultant will act as the onsite functional liaison between Application Managers, the Customer QA Lead, and offshore QA teams in India and Singapore.

The ideal candidate will have strong Oracle Fusion SCM functional expertise along with hands-on experience designing, executing, and managing test cases and test scenarios across complex integrated systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with onsite Application Managers to gather and clarify functional requirements across Oracle Fusion SCM and integrated internal applications.

• Partner with the onsite QA Lead and coordinate day-to-day functional activities with offshore QA teams.

• Translate business requirements into clear functional requirements and validation scenarios.

• Review test scenarios for functional coverage, business relevance, and traceability to requirements.

• Own end-to-end functional understanding of integrated business flows across Oracle Fusion, internal applications, and third-party systems.

• Ensure validation covers complete business flows rather than only Oracle Fusion transactions.

• Act as the onsite point of contact for offshore teams, communicating status, risks, issues, and blockers.

• Support functional readiness activities and UAT with business users.

• Drive defect triage and resolution across Fusion, internal applications, and third-party application teams.

• Monitor Oracle Fusion quarterly releases, patches, and release testing activities.

• Analyze Oracle release notes and identify impacted business processes and integrations.

• Develop risk-based regression testing strategies for Oracle updates.

• Validate integrations, interfaces, reports, workflows, and customizations following Oracle patches and quarterly updates.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion SCM .

• Strong functional expertise across most of the following:

  • Order Management (OM)

  • Inventory

  • Global Order Promising (GOP)

  • Procurement

  • Manufacturing

  • Product Information Management (PIM)

  • Planning

• Hands-on functional experience with Oracle OTM and GTM .

• Strong experience working with heavily integrated Oracle Fusion environments.

• Experience validating end-to-end flows involving Oracle Fusion, custom/in-house applications, and third-party applications.

• Hands-on experience designing, executing, and managing test cases and test scenarios is mandatory.

• Experience defining and reviewing functional validation scenarios for Oracle Fusion and non-Oracle applications.

• Experience with Oracle Fusion quarterly release testing and patch validation.

• Experience identifying business impacts from Oracle release notes and developing regression test strategies.

• Experience working in an onsite/offshore delivery model .

• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

• Ability to explain complex SCM processes to both business and technical teams.

• Must be based in California, USA and available to work onsite 3 days per week in Menlo Park, CA .

Nice to Have

• Experience with end-to-end Oracle Fusion SCM implementations, upgrades, or quarterly release cycles.

• Knowledge of OIC, REST/SOAP APIs, EDI, and file-based integrations .

• Ability to trace and validate cross-application data flows.

• Experience coordinating testing across multiple application owners.

• Familiarity with defect tracking and requirement traceability tools.

• Experience working across US India time zones .

• Candidate must be willing to work onsite in Menlo Park, CA, 3 days/week.

• Candidate must be willing to convert to C2H after 6 months .

• Candidate must provide email confirmation regarding C2H willingness.
