This full-time opportunity focuses on students in a drop-out recovery program, utilizing your expertise as a Special Education Teacher. Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification or licensure as a Special Education Teacher or Intervention Specialist
• Experience supporting high school students, especially those at risk of dropping out, is strongly preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement IEPs and behavior interventions
• Skilled in adapting curriculum and using data-driven instructional strategies
• Familiarity with virtual instruction tools and techniques is a plus for VOCO applicants
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique needs
• Deliver instruction to high school students within a drop-out recovery context, both in-person and virtually
• Provide targeted interventions, academic support, and guidance to help students achieve success and remain engaged in their education
• Track student progress, maintain records, and communicate frequently with parents, staff, and support teams
• Advocate for students’ needs and foster a supportive environment that encourages learning and personal growth
