Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing structured interviews and standardized assessment tools.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that focus on their specific goals and preferences, ensuring that therapeutic interventions are aligned with the client’s expressed needs.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders and enhance clients’ coping strategies.

• Provide family education and support, helping clients and their loved ones understand the complexities of mood disorders and the various treatment avenues available.

• Monitor and document clients' progress meticulously through regular reviews of treatment plans and outcomes, adjusting strategies as necessary to improve mental health support.

• Engage in collaborative efforts with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to design integrated care plans that encompass both therapy and pharmacological support when needed.

• Stay informed about the latest research and treatment advances in the field of mood disorders, ensuring that your practice reflects contemporary best practices.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all client interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults who are experiencing mood disorders, including, but not limited to, depression and bipolar disorder. Our diverse client base represents a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, allowing for the opportunity to engage meaningfully with individuals from various walks of life. Your role will involve understanding their unique experiences and crafting personalized treatment plans that resonate with their situations.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; however, we encourage candidates with a Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology to apply.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Washington State is necessary.
\n
• Demonstrated understanding of mood disorders and related therapeutic interventions.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, with an emphasis on CBT and DBT.

• Strong communication skills, enabling you to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure clinical experience focused on mood disorders is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
